Mercy is a teaching professional who is passionate about contributing and shaping children’s development and learning achievements. As a teacher and nurturer for children, she believes she has the best job in the world – and we agree. Over the past 7 years, Mercy has taught the Kenyan and British curricula. In her last position as Early Years and Key Stage 1 Coordinator, she had more than 200 children and 22 teaching staff under her supervision. She is a graduate of the Catholic University of Eastern Africa in English and Literature. She underwent several trainings and certifications, such as child safe-guarding, New Cambridge Curriculum, and the Google Educator course. Mercy enhances the AfrikAdemia team in Kenya with her experience in curriculum development and implementation, IT integration into learning and design of extra-curricular activities.
