On December 08 2017, AfrikAdemia received a grant of 7500 EUR (Seven Thousand Five Hundred Euros) in Frankfurt from BearingPoint, a global consultancy firm to award scholarships to children that will attend its pilot school in Nairobi.
AfrikAdemia’s model and teaching methodology is aligned with the strategy of the BearingPoint Foundation to drive advances in IQ (Intelligence Quotient) in society. AfrikAdemia focuses on developing critical thinking, problem solving and computer skills. All are core competencies that have been cornerstones of the success of BearingPoint as a global consulting firm. The scholarships are intended to support bright and needy children and promote excellence which is also a key BearingPoint’s value.
